Welcome to CAIRE, your intelligent home assistant. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CAIRE and all related services. By accessing or using CAIRE, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • Service: The CAIRE platform and its features, including AI assistance via app, WhatsApp, email, or voice.
  • User: Any individual who interacts with CAIRE by sharing personal details or using its AI-powered tools.
  • Partner: Any brand, professional, or service provider integrated with CAIRE’s ecosystem.
  • Device & Home Data: Any information you share with CAIRE about your appliances, home, routines, or tasks.

2. Who Can Use CAIRE

You must be 18 years or older to use CAIRE. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We may ask for age verification and reserve the right to suspend accounts that don’t comply.

3. Access & Use

You can interact with CAIRE via:

  • The CAIRE app
  • WhatsApp or voice interactions
  • Email parsing (e.g., when CAIRE reads incoming appliance-related emails)

By using the Service, you:

  • Agree to these Terms
  • Consent to CAIRE storing and processing your input
  • Allow CAIRE to learn from your preferences to improve support
  • Understand that CAIRE may reach out with reminders, summaries, or updates (opt-out available anytime)

4. Communication & Marketing

By providing your email or phone number, you consent to receive relevant updates from CAIRE via:

  • Email
  • WhatsApp
  • SMS

These may include product updates, helpful suggestions, or service reminders. You can opt out at any time by replying with "STOP" or using the unsubscribe link.

5. Data Use & Advertising

To improve our service and reach new users, CAIRE may:

  • Share hashed versions of your contact info with ad platforms (like Meta) for custom audiences
  • Use conversion tracking tools (e.g., Meta Pixel)
  • Build “lookalike audiences” to reach users similar to you
  • Run retargeting ads based on usage data

You can opt out of targeted advertising via your social media settings or by emailing privacy@meetcaire.com.

6. Acceptable Use

We ask all users to interact respectfully with CAIRE and with any service providers or partners involved.
Unacceptable behavior includes:

  • Abuse, threats, or harassment
  • Discriminatory or offensive language
  • Misuse or manipulation of CAIRE’s AI
  • Attempts to impersonate others

Violation of these guidelines may lead to suspension or permanent removal.

7. AI Interactions

When using CAIRE's voice or text features, you understand that:

  • Your conversations may be processed by third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, ElevenLabs)
  • These providers may process and store data under their own privacy standards
  • CAIRE never trains models using your private data without explicit consent
  • Recordings or summaries may be stored to improve your user experience

8. Data Privacy

We take privacy seriously. Here’s our promise:

  • Your email is only shared with other users if both parties opt in
  • Your phone number is never shared
  • Your home and appliance data is used only to improve support and suggestions
  • We comply with CAIRE’s [Privacy Policy] and all relevant data protection regulations

9. Third Parties & Integrations

We work with selected partners to provide a seamless experience. This includes:

  • Hosting providers
  • AI processors
  • Advertising platforms
  • Integration partners (e.g., appliance brands)

All partners operate under strict data protection obligations.

10. Feedback

We love hearing from you. Any feedback, feature ideas, or suggestions you share with CAIRE may be used to improve the product. By submitting feedback, you grant CAIRE a royalty-free license to use it.

11. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property associated with CAIRE — including app design, branding, voice interface, and technical systems — remains the property of CAIRE B.V. or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or modify any part of the platform without permission.

12. Fees and Payments

CAIRE may introduce paid features in the future. If so:

  • We will notify you in advance
  • Continued use after the change will indicate your acceptance

For now, the core CAIRE experience is free. Any third-party fees (e.g., mobile data or voice call charges) are your responsibility.

13. Limitations and Liability

CAIRE provides its services "as is" and "as available." We do our best to offer reliable support, but:

  • We do not guarantee specific outcomes
  • We are not liable for any damage or loss from using the service
  • Use of CAIRE is at your own discretion and risk

14. No Legal or Health Advice

CAIRE is not a legal, health, or emergency service. Any suggestions or responses are general in nature. Always consult a qualified professional when needed.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. CAIRE B.V. is a company registered in the Netherlands with the following details:

  • Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 97051438
  • VAT Number: NL867891348B01

Any disputes arising from these Terms will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. We’ll inform you of major changes through the app, email, or WhatsApp. Continuing to use CAIRE means you accept the updated terms.
