What data do we collect?

When you use CAIRE or communicate with us, we may collect the following types of personal data:

  • Information about your home, appliances, or services
  • Any context you share via voice, chat, email, or WhatsApp

By sharing your email address or phone number with CAIRE (for example via WhatsApp or email), you consent to receive updates and helpful messages via email, WhatsApp, or SMS. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link or replying “STOP.”

⚠️ We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (such as religion, political views, or medical information). If you voluntarily share it with us, it will only be used in the context of your request.

How do we use your data?

We use your personal data to:

  • Help you with relevant guidance or product support
  • Match you with experts, tools, or services based on your needs
  • Send messages via email, WhatsApp, or SMS (e.g. tips, reminders, updates)
  • Improve the performance and intelligence of CAIRE
  • Occasionally show you personalized ads on platforms like Meta (Facebook/Instagram)

Ads & Social Media

We may use platforms like Meta (Facebook, Instagram) for:

  • Custom Audiences: Showing you relevant ads based on your email or activity
  • Retargeting: Reminding you of CAIRE across other platforms
  • Lookalike Audiences: Reaching people similar to CAIRE users
  • Conversion Tracking: Understanding what works and what doesn’t

You can opt out by:

  • Adjusting your ad settings on platforms like Facebook
  • Blocking tracking cookies in your browser
  • Emailing us at privacy@meetcaire.com to request exclusion from ad audiences

Third-Party Services

We partner with trusted providers like:

  • OpenAI (AI services)

  • Google (email)
  • Meta (advertising)
  • Hosting and analytics platforms
  • Messaging and notification tools

These partners only receive the minimum required data and are bound by strict confidentiality and security obligations.

If CAIRE connects to Google services (such as Gmail or Google Calendar), we do so in full compliance with Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We only access, use, store, or share Google user data to provide or improve features that directly benefit the user and are clearly explained during use. We do not use this data for advertising or share it with third parties, unless explicitly authorized by the user or required by law.

Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your data for up to 2 years after your last activity with CAIRE.
Want it removed sooner? Just email privacy@meetcaire.com.

Once requested, we’ll delete or anonymize your data — and ensure it’s also removed from any relevant advertising platforms.

Security Measures

We use robust security systems to protect your data, including:

  • End-to-end encryption
  • Role-based access controls
  • Regular external security audits
  • No training of AI models on your data without your explicit consent
  • Strict vendor contracts and monitoring

If we ever access sensitive business or household data, it’s treated with maximum care and classified accordingly.

In Case of a Breach

If something goes wrong, we’ll act fast.
In the event of a data breach affecting you, we commit to informing you within 24 hours and taking necessary action to minimize any impact.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed or stored outside your country, for example by our cloud partners. We ensure secure transfers and use standard protections such as SCCs or approved data frameworks.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Correct or delete your data
  • Object to how your data is used
  • Unsubscribe from marketing at any time
  • Request removal from advertising audiences
  • Know which platforms have received your data

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. If we make major changes, we’ll inform you directly via the CAIRE app, WhatsApp, or email.
